Anyone can forward a GST certificate
Portals and suppliers collect KYC copies, and most only verify an email and a mobile number. Nothing links the person to the business.
Copies prove nothing
A PAN or GST photo shows the business exists. It does not show that the person sending it owns or runs it.
An OTP only proves a phone
Email and mobile codes show someone has a phone, not who they are or what they own.

What Satyap is not
Satyap verifies records and maps ownership. It is not a rating and not a guarantee.

Is Satyap really free?
Yes. Creating, keeping and sharing your Satyap costs your business nothing.
Do I need Aadhaar?
No. You can use DigiLocker, or your PAN card with a photo ID. Aadhaar details are never shared with anyone.
I run more than one business. Do I need more accounts?
No. You verify yourself once. Add each business, and your ownership is mapped to each one separately.
We are partners. Does each of us need to join?
The business’s records are verified once. Each partner verifies themselves and is mapped to it, so the business shows everyone who runs it.
Who can see my documents?
Only the businesses you approve, only the items you pick, and only for the time you set.
Can I do business with someone just because they have a Satyap record?
No. A record shows what was verified, who is mapped as owner, and when. Always make your own decision before doing business.
